this mail I'd like to present the 2nd Vigevano Prog Festival in Italy.
It's organized in Vigevano, a very nice town near Milano, in the wonderful court of its ancient castle. It conceives three days with
three

Yesterday evening I saw a Banco performance in Vigevano (for the second Vigevano
prog festival). It was a wonderful concert in witch BANCO played live songs like
Traccia e. Metamorfosis ... And now a news: the 21 of September BANCO will play
in PERUGIA (in a theatre) the whole set of DARWIN after 15 years (with Mauro
Pagani as guest star). A real event. I'll go without doubt. And now more info
about the festival. It was great.
First night: Evil Wings - Porcupine Tree Great performance of PT, real close to their actual vein (more POP than in the past) without abandon their psychedelic approach, thedistorted sound and their attention to atmosphere.
Second Night: Arti e Mestieri - Flower's King - Jethro Tull wonderful three band. A&M with a great jazz approach, FK with a more easy listening and new prog approach and JT classical: great sound, great live performance, great new songs that will be issued in their new album (last week of august)
Third night: After Crying - Banco del Mutuo Soccorso AC for the first time in Italy. Marvellous. Perhaps a little bit academic in some parts but a real talent in composition and technical capacity. Of BMS I spoke before but it was a correct way to close the festival.
I was in the organization (as PAPERLATE Magazine ww.paperlate.gpa.it) and I had the interview of the bands and a lot of photos. I'll publish in the new Paperlate and in our site.
