Ram typed: One disappointment was an album called "The Masquerade Overture" by Pendragon. To tell the truth, the album is boring. This is my first Pendragon CD, and I was expecting a lot more from this group since Clive Nolan is on it. The CD has a great cover, but as they say, never judge a CD by its cover. Will somebody please tell me there's much better stuff than this from this group, otherwise my Pendragon purchases stop here.
The Captain adds: Well.... I truly love this CD. In fact I just love EVERYTHING Pendragon. That said, MO is probably the most redundant of the lot. MO has no real original ideas and thus sounds too much like stuff you've heard b/4. For me that is not a bad thing. Maybe try The World or Window of Life, but you may find you just don't like these guys. One note, Clive writes nothing on any Pendragon CD. He is simply a player.

I don't blame you. Pendragon is pretty much guitarist/vocalist Nick Barrett's show. _TMO_ is overly slick and formulaic, and thus it gets old pretty fast. You might like their old mid-80s album, _The Jewel_ a lot better. Actually, try _Utrecht, The Final Frontier_, which is a pretty cool live album.

I own "The World", "Somewhere in England vol1&2", "MO" and single "As Good As Gold". Definitely try the World, MO sounds as outtakes from the World.
