Crucible Reviews

Crucible - Tall Tails* ''98, USA, Yes style - A guilty pleasure. They SCREAM mid-period Genesis (with a non-screeching Geddy Lee on vocals) but it's really nice, fun and well done. I thought I had had it up to "here" with "elf"-prog, but I really like these guys.

Next, Crucible "Curtains" Which may be the correct comment related to this excellent band. Seems Tim Horan, quit the band right before ProgDay. Tim wrote all their prog stuff. So we'll see if they can carry on.  As far as this CD goes all I can say is... it's too short! This is a very good CD. But it's only like 47 minutes long and that includes a cover of Crack The Sky's "Nuclear Apathy". A great song but come on guys, 37 minutes of new Crucible music after three years? Anyway, the new stuff is as good as their first so get it, but you'll agree, too short!
